Subject : Requesting Your Excellency to grant us an appointment on behalf of Tamralipta Royal Heritage Palace (Mayur /Peacock Dynasty in Mahabharata) Executive Committee to meet Your Excellency,  Hon'ble President of India, New Delhi.

Your Excellency,
We hope that this mail finds you in good health. We extend warmest wishes to you with great joy and honour. This mail may be read as a request to Your Excellency to grant us an appointment which is written on the advice of Sri Prakash Barua, member of Bodhi Society, Jamshedpur, who met Your Excellency three years ago alongwith Dr. K. Sangharakkhita Mahathera (who was the former Lord Abbott of Jamshedpur Bodhi Society,) and Dr. Sumanapal Bhikkhu, Deptt. of Pali, University of Calcutta.

The Buddha was an advocator of peace and friendship among human beings. He also tried his best to convince the monarchs of the time to follow this path and win the hearts of their subjects. The Buddha's missionary spirit began with sending his first sixty followers to spread his teachings for the welfare of all living beings. In history, many leaders like Emperor Ashoka got inspiration from the Buddha's ideals to renounce violence and embrace the path to nonviolence. We can see the culmination of these ideals in Emperor Asoka, who renounced war altogether even after winning a battle. Emperor Asoka sent his Son Mahendra and Daughter Sanghamitra to Sinhala, now Srilanka, to spread Buddhism and Indian culture, and to strengthen international relationship. As per historical evidence, Emperor Asoka used the Tamralipta port, now Medinipur, West Bengal. Emperor Asoka during his reign established a relationship with Tamluk Royal Mayur Bhanga or Mauriya Family.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been kind enough to recommend that the Royal Family be considered and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and we met His Holiness on 16th May '2025 at Dharmashala.

The teachings of the Buddha remain a guide for many nations and inspire individuals to pursue a path of righteousness and peace.

In view of that we have received Your Excellency's response by mail. We are grateful for that. We are requesting Your Excellency to grant us an appointment However, if there are any restrictions, please let me know. We are hoping for Your Excellency's assistance and response. Finally, I would like to sincerely thank Your Excellency.

With respect and gratitude.

May the triple gem protect you with good health, long life, and prosperity.
